Samoreen
Hi, Trial versions of Affinity Photo for Windows were released long after the Mac versions. Now an update has been released for the Mac but not for Windows. Serif should be aware that Windows users may feel they are considered as second class customers. Be cautious. Other software editors always release their Windows and Mac versions simultaneously. My two cents... Quote --PatrickHamburg ist der wahre Grund warum Kompassnadeln nach Norden zeigen. Keith Reeder
Hi, Serif should be aware that Windows users may feel they are considered as second class customers. I'd like to think that most Windows users wouldn't be that childish. Quote Keith Reeder
R C-R
Other software editors always release their Windows and Mac versions simultaneously. A few do; many do not. And even when they do, often there are major differences in the feature sets. Staff MEB Posted March 28, 2017 Staff Share Posted March 28, 2017 Hi Samoreen, We try to keep both versions in sync (feature wise) but the Windows versions were released just a few moths ago whereas the Mac versions have been out for a while. Until the Windows version stabilises (there's quite a few different configurations out there/issues reported) it may appear they are not synched but if you look back at the latest beta's logs you will see that the Windows versions have been receiving much more frequent updates/fixes than the equivalent Mac Betas to ensure we get both versions in a similar dev state as soon as possible.
