Kevin Dennes
I am a brand new Affinity user. I usually do my post production of photographs on ACDSEE but do have issues with it. One of my principal uses is to apply text to my photographs and I do need to apply drop shadow to the text in most cases. This also is the case when I apply layered photographs in Photoshop. I have searched in Affinity and don't seem to be able to find how to do this. Could someone help please? Regards. v_kyr
Hi and welcome to the forum, take a look at the effects panel there you will find inner and outer shadow settings. You can also copy and blur text accordingly or repetively use copy for longer shadows etc. Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
DJ_Jaybee
Looks like it takes - 4-5 clicks to get a decent drop shadow to be applied... ?
