SaucyWeeTart
Hi guys, Having a little trouble with bleeds at the moment. I'm already aware that if you specify bleeds in the document settings you can enable bleed marks on the export. I also know that live previews don't exist yet so I'm trying to hack together a kind of pseudo-preview workflow. As you can see from the video, it's a bit of a buggy, long-winded affair. This SURELY can't be the best way to do it. Anyone else got any ideas on how to do it better? Thanks! BleedIssues.mov
Staff MEB Posted March 24, 2017 Staff Share Posted March 24, 2017 Hi SaucyWeeTart, You can use a single rectangle (just the outline) with the size of document + bleed area to mark the boundaries of the bleed (see screenshot). Seems there's issues with redrawing/selections of objects (outside the artboard) when they share the edge with the artboard. I will pass this to the dev team. anon1 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference | Call for Camera Images
SaucyWeeTart
Hey MEB, Thanks for the reply, and thanks for passing it on to the dev team. I read a few times before that you guys were thinking of adding extra functionality to the bleed options. Any idea of progress?
