thedivclass
+1 for global styles - in illustrator you can update existing styles and this will automatically update all objects which had that style applied (e.g. stroke width/color) - reference youtube video thanks
thedivclass
"Select > select same > style" would be a great addition too Fun Art Sam

And if it could do that, it could also update the objects automatically if you changed the style Fun Art Sam, dedebenui and thedivclass 3 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
dedebenui
+1 For global styles that can be updated. It is really unintuitive that this is how it works with text but not with other objects.
Tema
You can use Gradients made with Global colors. So gradient will be changed with colors changing. Or Select objects with similar gradient by "Select same" ps +1 for adding global styles - it will be useful

This would not affect a saved Object Style since the "global" colour property isn't saved within the Style. Additionally Global Colour Swatches don't get transferred between documents (e.g. by copy/paste objects that have a global colour assigned) – thus a global colour in a style possibly would not work even if the style would be editable. So, you can use Global Colours in an object style only within the document where it got created from an object with global colours. Once you edited a global colour in this document you need to repeat the edit for any future instance of the style in this document.
