Nikos
One of the things I have been waiting for, is Affinity Photo for iPad. It seems this has been sent back by many months? I am also waiting for a decent DAM app (I do not like LightRoom's UI!), since the time Apple killed Aperture. I have almost decided to invest my free time into developing one myself (I am a developer with a passion for Photography).

Nikos
Yes!! I had seen the video, 9 months ago... The problem is, the app is still not on my 12.9" iPad!! Perhaps you need some help? (BTW, is this developed in Objective-C and C++, I guess??)

steves
Ok, I am going to pipe in here facitiously... forget the dang iPad app for heavens sake. Besides, there is a viable workaround ... use a mac! Now, lets get on with the arrowheads! LCamachoDesign
anon1
Now, lets get on with the arrowheads! LOL has actually nothing to do with Affinity Photo nor with the DAM nor with the iPad version of AP :D  (btw you could use windows as well :P ) looking forward to the iPad versions(s) very much as well @Nikos :)
Alfred
Ok, I am going to pipe in here facitiously... I think you mean "facetiously". ;) (It's one of the very few words in English that contain each of the vowels exactly once, in alphabetical order. Apart from "facetious/ly", the only other example I know of is "abstemious".) davemac2015, SrPx, Jens Krebs and 1 other 4 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)

donka
I hate asking such questions but this app is just too anticipated on the iPad. Is there even a rough eta on the beta?
evtonic3
I suspect Serif is working with Apple on a special presentation to showcase this innovative new app during their June presentation of products. We already know they are fans of Affinity! Jonathan Thomas and davemac2015
donka
Now that would be an awesome prospect. If Apple are looking for apps to really highlight the iPad Pro range, this has gone to be one of the very top solutions.
Jens Krebs
In regard of DAM, Serif has recommended Pixave (App Store) a while ago, before they started working on their own solution. Imam using it and am very happy with it. Worth, giving it a try.

Peter Werner
For IOS , Swift I guess Swift doesn't interface with C++ code, which the portable part of the software is written in. So my guess is ObjectiveC++, which is basically ObjectiveC, but it allows you to mix in C++ code rather than only C code. Daphen
The part that bothers me the most is that there is no info at all about it. It's radio silent from the devs regarding the iPad version. It feels like we've been waiting forever now. I'd gladly pay to be a part of the beta.
RNKLN
Given all the silence I expect them to be on stage during the WWDC keynote. davemac2015 1 Quote Affinity Photo - Affinity Designer - Affinity Publisher | macOS Sonoma (14.2) on 16GB MBP14 2021 with 2.4 versions
