arciyuski
I have an object with a seperated roof? But I can't seem to seperate the roof from the whole circle. When I change the color of the bottom of the cirlce it also changes the top?As I check on the layers they are one object and I can't figure out to seperate them so I can change the color. Please help! Please see the attachment
Guest
Hi arciyuski, It would seem that the roof line and the other drawings were made over a complete circle. You can copy the circle and paste it under itself, hen convert it into curves (the copy). Then descend the top three nodes of the circle behind the roof layout and change the color of the circle. R C-R
Another way to do this is to select the circle layer & use the Divide boolean operation on it. That should work because it is a "(Curves)" layer (note the plural) consisting of more than one curve. The Divide operation will split it into all its separate curves in the Layers panel.
