[AD] Stroke Width and Brush change when switching persona

Recommended Posts

Strange bug…

  • I am in Pixel Persona, and switch back into Draw Persona.
  • The stroke changes from what I set (1.5pt basic line) to a vector brush at a large stroke width (DAUB Inker 15.4pt)
  • I repeat the process, and the same thing happens again.

Thanks.

Note that it is also changing the brush tip, without me asking for the change.

I set a plain line (no pressure profile, no brush tip) and then when switching Personas a brush tip is applied.

Came across this bug again this evening in 1.6 - quite frustrating because I didn't notice that the stroke had changed at the time, but only later when the document was printed >:(

Steps to recreate…

  1. Run Designer 1.6
  2. Create a new document
  3. Draw a circle
  4. Set the stroke to a vector brush such as a DAUB Inker
  5. Now set it to a Solid Line Style and even change the width down to 1mm
  6. Switch to Pixel Persona
  7. Switch back to Drawing Persona
  8. Your stroke will have reverted to the wide DAUB Inker
  9. Just for fun click the Revert Defaults button
  10. Again toggle to Pixel Persona and straight back to Drawing Persona
  11. Grrr - The DAUB Inker is back!
  12. Now close the file (no need to save)
  13. Hell why not, lets create another new document
  14. Draw a square
  15. Toggle to Pixel Persona and back to Drawing Persona
  16. And it is still sodding well happening!!!! Argh!!!!!
  17. Exit Designer and go to bed.

On a more helpful / serious note: I notice that this doesn't happen if you deselect the object before switching personas.
