calmccann11
Hi I was hoping to find out if a standard laptop such as: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/dell-inspiron-15-5000-15-6-laptop-white-10157730-pdt.html I want to get affinity but would be starting out fresh and in need of a new laptop as I am currently on a chrome book. I don't want to spend £350 £400 on a laptop that won't run the software.

anon1
realistically speaking for photo manipulation this will be nightmare whilst for graphic/ web design it might be acceptable https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/32907-affinity-photo-performance-comparison-data-sheet/?p=159980 in this performance comparison are no pentium processors yet but I would expect it perform worse than an i3 processor for photo manipulation you definitely want something like an i5 quad core or better. GPU does not really matter. cheers
