I too would like this non rasterised method of recolouring artwork. Hadn't realised it was missing until today when using "other peoples artwork" with the need to recolour and reduce colour numbers – and had to switch back to illustrator make adjustments and reimport. 

Had used the recolour… option in AD and not realised until outputting as a EPS that this was a pixelating process.

Don't use all the time, but when you know its there in AI and then can't achieve easily in AD it's frustrating.

This tool is the number ONE if not ONLY reason I haven't ditched Illustrator for Affinity Designer altogether. The ability to shuffle colors and switch color palettes easily. I use it constantly and I would super love to stop giving Adobe my money!

You do realize that you are posting in the forum area for version 1 of Affinity Suite?

There will be no additional features for version 1.
