How are you trying to resize the text, Brian? Is it Artistic Text or Frame Text, or both?

Some are Text Frame @Alfred, which I noticed doesn't resize, while Artistic Text does. And @carl123, that's the one I do use, but I find it kind of annoying that you have to go on each text just to resize it correctly. There should be an option that I am missing, if the same functionality for Artistic Text works for Text Frame.

Hi BrianHermelijn,

Select all the objects (or group) you want to resize then use the lower bottom right corner handle (the one that's detached from the bounding box) to scale all the objects - including text frames. If you need to enlarge them to a specific size/width place a guide in the document as reference, then use snapping to help you resize the bounding box exactly to that guide. You can't use the Transform panel to set the dimensions directly because the text frames will reflow instead of being scaled.

Where your frame text boxes all use the same font size, you can select them all in the layers panel and change the font size for all of them in one go

Totally slowed me down. Had to switch to Illustrator to meet deadlines. Problem solved.

Text resizing should be fast and doesn't have to rely on specific handles or non-essential/gimmicky mechanisms.
