cptnftr
Hello community, thanks for the possibility to take part here. Trying to figure out how "selecting by colour" works, i am not able to find the solution. Does anybody perhaps know how to do it? Similar to the Illustrator function "Select ... same colour". It would b nice if someone could help. Greetings from Berlin :)
Staff Lee D Posted March 7, 2017 Staff Share Posted March 7, 2017 Hi cptnftr, Welcome to the forums. If you're wanting to select objects that use a particular colour, this isn't possible yet, maybe in the future. If you are wanting to create a selection, based on a colour the below applies. This will only work on a Pixel layer so you'll need to switch to the Pixel persona first, then use Select > Select Sampled Colour. A small window appear, now using the cursor select your colour. You can adjust the tolerance using the slider and when ready click Apply, you can then apply further adjustments to that selection. cptnftr
Alfred
As far as I'm aware, Affinity Designer doesn't currently allow us to select objects by similarity.
