I am having trouble in the Color Panel when the foreground is Black and the Background is White and I Change them to Foreground Red or some other color and and the Background Green.

How do I automatically return the the Black & White selection.  Is they a shortcut key for this?

If not, please supply the most simplest way to achieve this.

Also when a red line is thru one of the choices how do you get rid of it (example white is showing

a red line thru it cutting it in half but showing the full circle.

The red line indicates that there is no fill/colour. Double-click in the circle and you will get the colour dialogue.

To set shortcut for default colour; If you have Mac you can can use the Affinity menu, or if you have PC you can use the edit menu.
Click on preferences>keyboards shortcuts.
Click on the dropdown menu Affinity Photo and scroll down to miscellaneous.
Scroll down to set fill to black and white and type in the keystroke you want. (I set it to D)

Tick apply to all.
I can recommend the excellent videos here (I assume you have Affinity Photo)

- Affinity Photo 2.3.0
- Affinity Designer 2.3.0
-Affinity Publisher 2.3.0

DonS, if you post the same thing twice it becomes very difficult for responders to keep track of what others have said and can lead to the annoyance of "but I've already answered that!".
