Layer info (transparent box with text)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm a bit new at this so I'd really appreciate some pointers about how to do something like this (see attached image)

post-31479-0-38287700-1488203932_thumb.jpg

I need to add a layer that can contain a text box which has specific text but that can be made opaque in the same way as it appears on the attached image.

Any pointers greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Very simple.  Draw a white or pale grey filled rectangle. Make it less than 50% opaque. Duplicate it, and change the duplicate layer to text frame. Set the opacity back 10 100% so the text is solid.
