Affinity Designer kind of freezing/strange behavior after sleep of my MacBook

Recommended Posts

Hi forum,

The title of this posting does not really meet what I'm trying to ask/explain but I could not find any better words.

I'm using Affinity designer for 1-2 weeks now and really love it. However, when I put my MacBook to sleep and reopen it, Affinity designer often looks like in the screenshot attached. I can still guess where my artboards are but there is no content. The software itself seems reactive but there is no other way to work with the file again then closing the software and reopening it.

As I put my MacBook to sleep pretty often, this behavior is really annoying.

Is anybody else here experiencing this?

Thanks

Norbert

Have you tried anything that forces the screen to redraw, like zooming in or out or maybe switching into & out of Outline mode?
