Bookins
HI, I am a newbie and am gradually working my way through all the tutorials. I have watched the one on refining, however, I struggle to create a good 'fur edge' with my hairy cavalier! I seem to end up with block feet, please could you advise on a process for me to get a better result. I am pretty rubbish at this!!! Many thanks B
HVDB Photography
Hard to guess what you could possibly have done wrong! Load your xxxxx.afphoto file so one can check it. Staff MEB Posted March 2, 2017 Staff Share Posted March 2, 2017 Hi Bookins, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I don't know how busy the original background was but have you tried to create a rough selection of the dog then click the Refine button in the context toolbar to help you refine the edges? There's a video tutorial that goes exactly through this process using an animal as an example that may help you a little.
