R E H I L L M E D I A Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Pixel Persona: I created new document and drag a picture, and tried to use the Marquee Tool as selected the part on the image when tried to delete the selected area but it goes the whole picture disappear only doted lines of selected area appears. Staff MEB Posted February 21, 2017 Staff Share Posted February 21, 2017 Hi R E H I L L M E D I A, Right-click the layer in the Layers panel and select Rasterise... to convert the (Image) layer type to a (Pixel) layer type (you can check the layer type looking at the label between parenthesis after the layer's name in the Layers panel). Only pixel layers let you manipulate them at a pixel level as is the case here. Then you can perform the selection/deletion you intended.
