Hi carewrenj,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

I believe you are running an older version of Affinity Photo. The latest version is 1.5.1. Can you please check it in Affinity Photo ▸ About menu?

If that's the case please update it to the latest version through the Mac App Store app, Updates tab (on top), clicking on the Update button in front of Affinity Photo.

I am using 1.5.1.  I just purchased it a few days ago.

Hi carewrenj, zoli642,

Thanks for your feedback/reports. I'm not able to check this personally on my system (i'm not running El Capitan) but i'm passing it to the dev teams to be checked.

Hi @zoli642,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Regarding the black picture - are you running Affinity Photo in Separated mode?

If so this is a known issue in all mac OS's. Please check this page - click on one of the Nik Collection plugins - for a workaround for this problem.

[EDIT] Issue logged.

  • 2 weeks later...

Since the last update of Os X Sierra I cannot see anything on Affinity, just a black window I can see the image on the navigator but not on the working desktop, the same happened before when I was running el Capitan but later when I upgrade to Sierra everything was working fine until now on my last update of the OS X Sierra
