simpatico Posted February 18, 2017 Share Posted February 18, 2017 please excuse the question - does the trial version have the same functionality as the one I'd purchase? I ask as I am unable to get any of the retouching brush icons on the left hand side of the screen to actually work! For example if I use the erasing brush I will sometimes see the area I've "marked" using the mouse & on other instances nothing happens! Any useful feedback welcome before I uninstall & start again. You do not need to uninstall and reinstall at all. If a tool is non functioning it is caused by you not having the correct type of layer or object selected . Alfred Posted February 18, 2017 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Any tools that operate at the pixel level require you to have a pixel layer selected. Go to the Layers panel, where you'll probably find that the layer you're trying to work on is identified as an Image layer, in which case you need to right-click it and choose 'Rasterize' to convert it to a Pixel layer. meisterrossi Posted February 23, 2017 Share Posted February 23, 2017 I asked me the same question of functionality (like "simpatico" above) in my 1.5.4 trial version. Real-time Editing of embedded files doesn't work and psd-export with editing does also not work on. I'm working on a mac / os Sierra 10.12 Any ideas?
