[Aph] Constrain the proportions of the crop box by holding a key

Recommended Posts

In Photoshop you can hold SHIFT to constrain the proportions of the crop box. As far as I know this is not possible in Affinity Photo. It would be really useful. At the moment you have to go to the "Mode:" dropdown in the Context Toolbar and click on "Original Ratio" which takes more time than just simply holding SHIFT while dragging the crop box by the handles.

Please add this. Holding Shift while using the crop tool should have the same behavior as holding Shift while creating a rectangular marquee. Even using a specific ratio in the crop tool (constrained) doesn't have the same behavior because the right-most edge of the crop area follows the mouse at all times. Here's a gif I made to illustrate the difference. Marquee tool is the expected behavior.
