sahar
If you search "rtl support" or "support arabic text" you'll find that it's a very old and frequently wished feature. So please add rtl support to AD or at least add it to your road map as it is a very basic feature. Affinity designer is called to be a UI design tool. But what is the use of it when one can not type and work with text an typography? Currently you can't work with persian, hebrew, arabic, urdu ... and all the rtl languages in AD and it's not even mentioned in the introduction of the app in the Appstore or in the website! erwinprasetyo
yes sahar, unfortunatelly i found that they not support RTL just when i bought it, but i really optimistic that the serif team would make this feature ini the future
myclay
Hello sahar and erwinprasetyo, its not an elegant solution but you could use the shift tool and the transform properties to archive RTL writing. For better results, use a box behind the text for snapping when using shift. Borism
Flipping it doesn't really help. We don't see it mirrored but as CBA instead of ABC. Even if we used an online tool to flip texts, it would break letter kernings especially for punctuation.
