Petar Petrenko
Hi, is it possible to import Excel charts entirely as vector objects? If not, please consider this post as a feature request. I tried all combinations from "Paste Special" but the main data (rectangles, cones...) remain bitmap. It would be extremly nice if you add feature for creating charts in some of your apps. Staff Leigh Posted February 16, 2017 Staff Share Posted February 16, 2017 I've just tried Excel 2016 and it seems to copy over fine. What happens if you export to PDF from Excel and open this in Affinity?
Petar Petrenko
Are you saying it is all vector? Have you inspected it in Designer? I forgot to mention that I use Office 2007. I've just tried with PDF, but it wants to rasterize the complete table and chart. Staff Leigh Posted February 17, 2017 Staff Share Posted February 17, 2017 Copy and pasting brings in vectors and editable text. The same happens when I bring in the PDF exported from Excel 2016. Seems like your version of Excel doesn't export to vector. Perhaps you can export to .eps from the Print dialog - https://rushdishams.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/excel-graph-to-eps-ms-office-2007.html
