AD - Moving object issues

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody.

I'm an italian architect and illustrator and I'm using Affinity since 2 months.

Now, I have this problem with this file that I really can't solve: When I move n object, it goes on the layer above instead remain on the selected layer.

I think I've touched something like an hotkey, because it's the first time it happen to me.

The file has three simple layer, in which the first has an image, the second (upper) has some simple shapes and the last has some texts. When I try to move the text, it moves instead on the picture's layer.

I've search on the guide and on internet before posting in this community.

Thanks to everyone who wants to help me.

Are you moving the object by dragging the object on the canvas, or by moving the layers in the layer panel?

If the first then there shouldn't be a problem, as this should not affect the layers in the panel.

In the later watch tutorial

in the area of 1:50 thru 3:25.  Where the layer is dropped is critical and hard to describe.

I hope that helps.
