artofmtl
Hi everybody, even though I am using Windows I was watching the video for Installing & Using Nik Dfine. My question is: Why would someone use Dfine? Is it because we cannot achieve the same thing in AP? Thanks
rmar
You probably can use AP for noise reduction but you can do that in Photoshop, Lightroom, and others. Even so, a lot of people will still purchase Topaz Denoise because it just works well. NIK Dfine might not be the latest and greatest but it's completely free now (I paid over $150 for the NIK suite a couple years ago and still use Dfine). artofmtl 1 Quote Skill Level: Beginner, digital photography, digital editing, lighting. I was just curious, me too I paid 150$ for Nik.
