100% zoom clips off edge pixel

Recommended Posts

Hi terrox

Thanks for the file. I have exported the image and the export and what is shown in designer look exactly the same to me. But they also do in your screenshot. I'm not sure what it is I'm supposed to be looking out for. Are you able to give anymore details about what you are seeing?

Thanks

Ver 1.5.2.58 on Windows 10, I don't see anything wrong, but I don't know exactly what I should be looking for....

I think you can understand it better if you do this

Create a 48px by 48px document.

Use the pixel tool to draw a 1px black line around the edge

Switch to 100% view (it's tiny!) and all the black line is not visible at that view setting.

I'm hit by this bug too. Was going to report it, but the thread is already here. :)

(There are some artifacts in this gif recording, but lacking bottom and right edge pixels are not ones of them.)

You can clearly see that even in 200% right and bottom edge pixels are thinner (1px instead of 2px).

The topic is tagged as AFD-2244, so I assume the bug has been acknowledged at least.

I hope it won't be fixed in Designer only, and Photo will receive the bugfix too.

(BTW Shouldn't bugs present in more than one application have common ticket namespace, like AF-xxx?)

1.6 should come out till the end of April, at least that's what the blog says, so I hope the issue will be resolved by then...

Unfortunately problem still exists in AP 1.5.2.69. I haven't checked new AD yet.

I really hoped it would be fixed for upcoming AP 1.6, but it's still not.

I tested recent beta 1.6.0.79 and there is slight difference, so I'll show up-to-date screenshots.

The difference from 1.5.x is that now even in 150% zoom edges are clipped.
