[APh] Adding layers to selection with SHIFT not working correctly

Recommended Posts

In the list of layers/groups, adding/removing layers & groups to/from the selection with SHIFT+CLICK works properly only when doing it from the top-down. If you try to do it from from the bottom-up, the previously selected layers/groups get deselected.

To test it try this:

1. In a new document create 5 empty pixel layers

2. Select the bottommost layer

3. Hold SHIFT and click the layer above it

4. While still holding SHIFT, click the next layer above it

You'll see that with each consecutive click you'll be deselecting the previously selected layers. Try the same thing but from the bottom down. No such problem appears.

Do you see the problem? If not, let me know and I'll record a video of my screen.

Awesome!

By the way, I made a mistake in my post. Where it says "Try the same thing but from the bottom down" it should be "Try the same thing but from the top down". But I think you understood what I meant. :)
