Hey,

I would love to see the feature that makes it possible to create cinemagraphs in Affinity Photo. For this it is required to be able to edit short video clips in Affinity Photo just like you can do it in Photoshop. I just found it out today because I see more and more cinemagraphs on Instagram and wondered how to create them. Then I found this video.

I don't want that Photoshop feature to be copied because there are options in Photoshop that are more complex that it is required. That's why I really like Affinity. There are so many features and a clean working space.

I hope I am not the only one who is interested in this feature to be implemented.

Best regards,

Andy

I would be also tremendously happy if we have this function in affinity photo ... or if you prefer, a new affinity video app that could make cinemagraphs...

Because for mac now there is only one other app that makes this but it is waaay too expensive just for this technique...

Hi Andy, s3str4t4 and roddy,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

As far as i know there's no plans to integrate video/animation features/functionality in Affinity Photo. We are trying to keep each app focused in its own area, however we don't rule out the option to develop other apps for different areas later. See our FAQ for more info.

I think most Affinity Photo users really want to be able to leave Photoshop once and for all, and be able to have all the features of Photoshop with the ease and design of Affinity Photo. If Serif would do this, there would be a major industry shift.
