ostonica
How do I draw a 1 pixel stroke inside a selection rectangle in APh? I use this quite often in Photoshop, but cannot find a way do do it in APh? I looked at refine edges but this does not give what I need. Bri-Toon
If you're looking into drawing inside an object, then you should clip the pixel layer in the shape layer. See the example in my screencast. 20170210092437.mov Quote The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready. ostonica
Thanks, but that's not what I am looking for. The PS Stroke command puts a 1 (or more) pixel width line on, or inside or outside the selection rectangle. I think it might available as a command in Affiity Designer, but I need it in APh Quote Jim http://js-ca.net
carl123
It can be done with the rectangle selection tool (Rectangular Marquee Tool) but it's a lot easier/quicker just to use the rectangle tool (under shapes) and set the stroke to 1px and the fill to none ostonica 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. rickd
If you use the FX (click it.) at the bottom of the layers panel there's a place to choose outline check it and you can then choose outside, inside or center.
BobsDaubs
If I understand you correctly, you are trying to do a stroke selection the way photoshop does it. I think this might work for you. You must have an active selection with the marching ants for this to work (I think), 1. With your selection active, go to the Select menu>outline 2. Make your settings as you like from the dialog box 3. Fill your outline with the Flood Fill Tool. It seems that the Rectangle tool is the simplest way to give me what I need. Thanks Carl Quote Jim http://js-ca.net
