elbingo
I am trying to use a Wacom Bamboo in Affinity Photo. However, only the arrow cursor will show rather than the circle of the brush size in use. On occasions the circle will show very briefly before reverting to the arrow, but not long enough to allow use. The Bamboo driver is up to date and I am using the most recent updated AP. Anybody any ideas ???
Staff Lee D Posted February 8, 2017 Staff Share Posted February 8, 2017 Hi elbingo, Welcome to the forums. I can't seem to reproduce this issue using a Wacom Bamboo we have in the office in Affinity Photo on both Mac and Windows. Can you check the drivers versions you have installed, just in case. Versions of the ones I downloaded: Mac OS: 5.3.7-6 Windows: 6.3.15-3 Try resetting the app, hold down the CTRL key and launch the app, a window will appear, release the CTRL key. Now press the Clear button, if you click Clear All it will also remove any brushes, styles and other presets you have created.
elbingo
Thanks Lee... the most recent driver for windows is 6,3,20-5 which I have again installed as well as following your suggestion re resetting the app. Still the same problem i.e. the brush will only show as an arrowhead rather than the corresponding circle size. No problems at all when using in Lightrooom and other apps, just in AP. Any other suggestions ??
elbingo
An update.... I have since reinstalled the full bamboo and again reinstalled the most recent update. Things now seem to be working well again. Fingers crossed. Lee D and DivSmart
