hydrowing
Hi. I found when I copy layer effects from one object to another, the effects will resize. Is there any way I can persist the effects parameters? Thanks! This is what I did to test: draw a 200x200 rectangle apply an outline effect to it with radius of 20px copy the rectangle draw a 100x100 rectangle edit → paste fx the 100x100 rectangle will have an outline effect with 10px radius SimplyPhy
Staff MEB Posted February 7, 2017 Staff Share Posted February 7, 2017 Hi hydrowing, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, there's no way to keep them. This is a known bug that's already logged to be looked at. Thanks for your feedback. JimmyJack
Edit: Whoops, never mind. Misread the op. FWIW...Paste Style works for a simple stroke or dashed line.
GARoss
This is great software but I hope there will be a fix or a change in preferences to lock FX size soon. This has caused me a great deal of re-work but I do love AF Design! I have to manually check all the effects after pasting. I still love Affinity software and I consider many functions designed in really smart way...this is not one of them however.
