Hi. I just downloaded Affinity Design Trial yesterday and I like it so much. However, I need a little help here and it's probably a simple solution, but I seem not to be able to find it.

When I'm trying to set guides on my work, it doesn't not show me the exact number of where it is. For example, If I'd like to have a guide 0.5 inch off of the edge, I drag a guide from a ruler and guess where it is by looking at the ruler and then I go to guides manager to change the number to exactly where I want it to be. I know I can do it directly from guides manager as well, but it's easy for me if I could see those numbers while I'm dragging guides from the rulers.

Where can I turn on that function? I hope my question is clear.

When you first drag a guide from the ruler there is no display of its position on the screen but if you release the mouse then reselect the guide and move it again its position is then displayed on the screen.

carl123, thank you so much!

Oh wow... how come I didn't see that... lol I feel so dumb now. So for now, there's no way to see it from the first time dragging it from the ruler, is that correct? One of the tutorial videos I watched showed that the number showed without releasing it and reselecting. So I assume it has been changed for the new version since the tutorial was using an earlier version of the program.

Can you remember which video tutorial that was?
