andrzejas
You made a great work, affinity photo is a like photoshop, I think maybe better sometimes. But I want change everything, a hate cloud application. I want Affinity Raw editor, better than lightroom and working together perfectly with Affinity Photo. Kodiak
• If one has a single RAW file/ project, Affinity Photo already has the Develop Persona to handle RAW files. It features not destructive record of all tweaks done on the RAW and, upon saving, may be worked in the Photo Persona. erzgebirgszorro
Hello Kodiak, It features not destructive record of all tweaks done on the RAW and, upon saving, may be worked in the Photo Persona. did I miss something? Last time I checked the develop persona was destructive. So if you once hit "develop" then the pixel layer is finally transferred to the afphoto file. After that you can't change the previously modifications made in the develop persona. Of course you can open the develop persona again to make any new modifications. But I hope AP 1.6 will bring non destructive RAW development and more powerful development tools. 3drenderingservices.co.uk
Kodiak
did I miss something? Last time I checked the develop persona was destructive Now that you ring the bell, maybe I should ask myself the question. I understood that all tweaks were recorded in the Afphoto files that ends up being ginormous BTW. I just watch this video but it doesn't clearly answer the point… https://vimeo.com/130963606 So I have to admit that my "presumption" was wrong. Personally, when I learned that it could develop only one file at the time, I knew that I would not use the persona. My actual workflow is RAW conversion and publish- ing in Capture One Pro, and pixel edition only in AP when needed. Sorry I created false hopes! :) Quote www.kodiakmedia.at bureau@kodiakmedia.at TeamViewer: 668 015 544 Skype: kodiakonline If personal taste is involved, Light is free, Mother Nature provides the light discussion is pointless. capturing it is NOT. but talent renders the image. tzoumaz
ok, I cant compare the Develop Persona with the RAW-Engine from Capture One. Thats a 250 $ missunderstanding. I think only for the Colour Editor from Capture One, if you could, you must pay the same price for complete AP (If you don't have a Sony CAM)
