evtonic3
How do I make a custom tool toggle that takes me between two tools back and forth? For example pressing B toggles between the brush, pixel, colour replacement tool, etc.
R C-R
I think it as simple as assigning the same keyboard shortcut to two or more tools. At least that works for several of the tools I have tried it with that are in the same general category, like the various shape tools. Alfred
To the great annoyance of many users, pressing the same shortcut key toggles between the current tool and the previous tool in most cases; e.g. if you press V to choose the Move Tool and then press A to choose the Node Tool, pressing A again re-selects the Move Tool (instead of confirming your choice of the Node Tool). The exception to this is groups of tools such as the one containing the Healing and Inpainting Brush Tools, where repeatedly pressing J simply cycles through the other tools in the group; to change this behaviour, you need to customize the tools and give each separate tool its own shortcut.
