mudbug32 Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 I would like to be able to export individual objects as png with alpha channel. I've tried the slice technique but it still only exports the whole page. I can't figure the problem. Driving me crazy. I've been able to do this for years without a problem using Serif Page Plus on the PC. Why can't I do this in this award winning software? Why can't we just export page objects like I've been able to do for more than a decade? Going to have to buy Affinity Publisher I guess if it ever comes out. Chris_K Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Hi mudbug32 There are multiple methods to export individual objects. With the object selected you can go to file > Export and change the area from whole document toe Selection with/without background. In the Export Persona if you manually draw a slice it will export everything underneath it, so if you do not have a transparent background set for the document it will have a white background. If you go to the Layers panel in the Export Persona, you can select the desired object and create a slice from that.
