AD has about 20 built in filters, called layer adjustments. Create a layer, select it, and then at the bottom of the layer panel, push the black and white circle button at the bottom center of the panel to get the pop-up selection.

 

AD doesn't have filters such as ripples, Pinch/Punch etc. AP does have them.

Hi Moepling,

 

Affinity Designer doesn't have any artistic photo filters available, if you have Affinity Photo installed you can open and adjust your images using that app but is also has no artistic filters like PS. It does have a macro feature with presets to apply various effects to images. Artistic filters may be added as a future feature but we don't have an eta of them.
