What is the weight/thickness of the CutPath strokes? What PDF output settings have you used?

You have to create a spot color, name it CutPath or CutContour (not sure which one is) and apply it to the curve/path. To create a spot colour in Designer, go to the Swatches panel, right-click the menu icon on the top right of the panel, select Add Global Colour... and set the values you want to use then tick the Spot box on the bottom.

hmmm, wondering which is easier to describe.

1) check end point. There should be one red node on your path. Move it and see if it's actually attached to both adjacent nodes with a path segment. This will be much easier to see if the fill is really light or none.

2) attaching files here: Just below the reply window, on the right, there's a "More Reply Options" button. Click it. Now you will see an "Attach Files" button.

...Not so hard after all  :) .

Edit: another thought is that maybe something is checked in the FX area that is causing the vector to be rasterized.

You've seem to have setup the spot colour layer, if you export to PDF with retain spot colours checked. Then open the PDF in Adobe and check, the spot colour separation is present. Can you confirm if the other software has any particular PDF requirements that you haven't mentioned? Are you getting an issue once you open the PDF in another program, if so whats happening?

Hi Everyone!

I'm also very interested in getting a vector line or cut contour colour, This affinity software is really cool but for me will very difficult to leave behind other Software!! because of there some important features that I really don't know where to find. As you might know Roland versaworks its a Rip software used for one of the most popular ranges of printers in the market. Nowadays other products make us the life easier comes already with a palette of colours like Cutcountuor, metallic colours etc. This Cutcountour colour, in particular, is very important for us! is how we command the plotter just cut and not print and this feature only works generating .EPS files.

If someone Affinity expert can provide us more information about this topic will be great.
