Randy Williams Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 I have been "downloading" version 1.5.1 for approximately 9 hours without success. When I look at the resource monitor, I see a short (1 to 2 minute) high download speed. Then it drops to practically nothing, I have been able to download the beta versions and version 1.5.0 without any problems. Thoughts or ideas? Thanks. If you have any AV or Firewall software running consider turning them off, just while downloading as sometimes they can interfere with downloads but not always. R C-R Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 If you are getting Affinity Photo 1.5.1 through the Mac App Store, sometimes Apple's servers can be extremely slow, stalling for long periods at a time. When this happens to me, I just quit the App Store app & try again later. I just retried the download this morning. It worked with no problems in about 2 minutes. The install went fine. I am impressed with the speed improvements.
