Affinity Designer - Object Alignment a specific distance?

Recommended Posts

Let say I have 6 squares

I want each to be exactly 0.25in distance from each one.  I know I can move them using the mouse or arrow keys.

Is there a quicker way and to select them all and say make them 0.25in spaced all at once.

I know you can align and distribute but that does not give me the exact 0.25in I want.  I still need to manually move the objects.

Wondering if there is an easier way to accomplish this.

Thanks

Check out the Auto Distribute function under the Arrange options

Hi TurboCooler,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

You have to click on the last icon first on the Align Horizontally or Align Vertically section then untick Auto Distribute for the field to become available.

Thank you!  That worked -- but was not obvious to me ;)   I also did not find the info in the online help.   Thank you for the quick response.
