Aeros4
Last but not least, the lady is gleaning, thanks dear thing, I don't want that seed germinating in the lawn :D Franklin and MEB
Kodiak
• I'm quite jealous as I don't get to see such perching birds at the marsh… and this is a cute one! Do I see that you've been a little large with the blacks re-covery brush on this one too? This a perfect shot wherethe Auto-mask feature could have performed wonders. I like bird shots but visibly close to a feeder… not really.I took the freedom and 5 minutes to clean the take… ifyou don't agree with this, I will respectfully remove it. I think you should have a look at you sensor as I did notremove only seeds! :) Franklin 1 Quote www.kodiakmedia.at bureau@kodiakmedia.at TeamViewer: 668 015 544 Skype: kodiakonline If personal taste is involved, Light is free, Mother Nature provides the light discussion is pointless. capturing it is NOT. but talent renders the image. Aeros4
Hi Kodiak; Thanks for your engagement and time spent on this photo. My sensor does have one large hickey on it. The seed was left in as it was about this female Pine Grosbeak gleaning the fallen seed, that's why I left it in. There is a famous old master painting (I forget by whom) of women in a harvested grain field gleaning the leftovers. This bird reminded me of the painting. A very successful painter friend of mine who gave me a lot of mentoring with my own painting efforts said to me " The genius in painting, is knowing what to leave in and what to take out, and having the courage to do it" A very talented photographer friend once said to me; "If personal taste is involved, discussion is pointless. " :D I'm grateful for your input Kodiak, please leave it in.
LilleG
As a matter of personal taste :), I prefer the original post. The edit has lost some of the texture and crispness of the snow and ice.
