citroenDS
I've been using masks to apply adjustment and filter layers selectively. But it occurs to me that it would sometimes be quicker to 'brush in' adjustments directly to the areas I want to modify. Is it possible to do this, and if so - how? Staff MEB Posted January 17, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 17, 2017 Hi citroenDS, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Yes, select the adjustment layer then go to menu Layer ▸ Invert or press ⌘ (cmd) + I to invert the adjustment built-in mask. With the mask inverted you can then paint with white using the Paint Brush Tool to "brush in" the adjustment. lolopat 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

BrianG67
Mmmm? Like CitroenDS I find it easier to go back into lightroom and use and the adjustment brush with control over all the adjustments at once. eg. whiten teeth, or Dodge. I can adjust exposure, sharpness, saturation all in the same brush. Is there anything like that in Affinity Photo other than creating an adjustment layer for each effect. ianrb
Dik Salsbury
I'd like to see a true adjustment brush in AP. Mask Layer works but isn't as efficient. ianrb
Renate Valencia
I can't see myself using Affinity all that much until there is a Lightroom-like or Camera Raw-like adjustment brush. I really depend upon this tool.
