robert_muench
Hi, I want to export a slice to an SVG file. That works so far, but I have one problem, see screenshot. I assumed that the slice defines the area what gets exported. Since some elements are now outside this area, these get exported too. Rendering my SVG not useable. I would like to avoid, that I have to design everything fitting my export area etc. Any idea what to do?
robert_muench
Hmm... interestingly I saw the effect (showing out of slice content) in Apple preview app but not in an other tool. Could it be, that SVG rendering results are pretty dependent on the tool used?
VIPStephan
It might be best if you attached (or linked to) the SVG you got out of it so we can have a look ourselves and see if there’s anything wrong with it, and if yes, what.
robert_muench
Sure, makes sense. Sorry. The test site is here: http://test.saphirion.com The last banner which is shown correctly in Chrome but not in Apple preview.app: http://test.saphirion.com/resources/Banner1_export_afdesigner.svg
VIPStephan
OK, add the same values to the width and height attributes as are in the viewBox attribute and it should work: <svg width="114" height="60" viewBox="0 0 114 60" …
robert_muench
Ok, will try. But why aren't "width" and "height" are added automatically on export?
