ralmac2
when I click on an adjustment layer there is no red confirmation button in the top LH corner, so not allowing any changes
RNKLN
Probably this has to do with the non-destructive character of this type of adjustments. You can always go back and make changes. Basically, there's nothing to confirm. Just close the popup (kind of acts as a confirmation that you're ready making adjustments) to indicate you're done. Fixx
Adjustment layer just adjusts live – if nothing seem to happen when you fiddle with it might not be targeted to right layer(s). OP is very right though that there is no sensible way to commit/close the dialog, it just sits there in the middle of the screen waiting for you to move it aside or close it. There should be some keyboard shortcut to close it when you are done.
gdenby
The adjustments remain live unless you tap the merge button. At which point, it that is an oops, there is Undo. It can be convenient to have the adjustment dialog stay open. If there are a bunch of layers that all have the same adjustment applied, but in different ways, one can go from layer to layer and tweak the setting w/o having to re-open the diaogue.
