Thanks for the feedback. :) If I can impose with a related question, how do you split a section off a complex shape? In the attached image, I want to delete the blue section from the red shape. With the Node Tool active, select a node at either end of the line that you want to split off, and then click on the 'Break Curve' icon on the Context toolbar. Now select the node at the other end and 'Break Curve' again. cchris Posted January 13, 2017 Author Share Posted January 13, 2017 Thanks yet again. I like Designer a lot, but there's so much that's not intuitive. I wish they'd add a knife tool similar to Freehand's for doing splitting that currently takes knowing several different modes and tools. It's on the roadmap for AD 1.x, so it should be coming in a free update at some point.
