mission
Hi, I'm planning to buy Panasonic DMC-FZ2000 (DMC-FZ2500 in the US) but I can't see it on the supported cameras list. Is there any ETA on when Affinity Photo will add RAW support for it? How long it may take? Thank you and kind regards, HaroldBark
Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 14, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 14, 2017 mission, I doubt that we will add more raw formats until the 1.6 release version, which means that they will appear in Photo 1.6 customer betas, also in the future. I would expect support for these Panasonic models to be added for that release (testing dependent). mission
Thanks Patrick for the info! I've found some sample RAW images from FZ2000. Affinity Photo does open the file, but there is no built-in Lens Correction. It's the same Panasonic RAW (RW2) format as for FZ1000. So basically the format is supported, but the camera is not :-) Patrick Connor
mission
Found a post regarding lens correction database that Affinity Photo is using. Perhaps someone will find it useful: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/32900-will-affinity-photo-add-lens-profiles/?p=161021
