Hi, All.

I am trying to merge some images into an image stack (like for long exposure simulation and noise reduction) and also clone some details from individual images into a final image. It looks like it is working automatically when doing Focus or HDR-stacking - individual images are automatically added to clone sources - but I was not able to figure how to do it in an image stack?

Thanks in advance.

Hi doc.ask,
Welcome to the forums.

You can remove objects using stacks, such as moving vehicles. Once the stack has been created on the Layers panel, click the icon on the see the pop-up menu and select Median. If you get ghosting, you can expand the stack and adjust individual images by using Masks. You can also use other tools such as Clone or Inpainting on each of the images.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's would work, also a bit complicated - in order to de-ghost/clone from one single image all layers in the stack need to be masked. It is very conveniently done in Focus-stacking or HDR-stacking when each layer is added to clone sources, I was looking for a way to do same with layers in the stack.
