MrKrotos
Okay so I want to give this software a try to see if its a good replacement for PS. I am struggling to find ANY info on what the 2 Apps cover, whats what? What do I use? Where is the demo version so we can test? I am not going to pay for the product just to test it, thats just stupid! There is no way I am going to pay for a product, only to test it and find its no good and be left out of pocket. Staff MEB Posted January 11, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 11, 2017 Hi MrKrotos, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Basically Affinity Designer is an hybrid vector/raster graphic/web/ui design and illustration application while Affinity Photo is a RAW converter/developer and photo editing/painting application. You will find plenty of information about both Affinity apps on Affinity's website. From system requirements to a description of all features and formats supported it's all there. Additionally you can also check some video tutorials to get an idea of what each app does. Check this thread for Affinity Designer Video Tutorials and this one for Affinity Photo. Since we have updated/launched version 1.5 for both apps quite recently there aren't trials available yet but they will come as soon as we stabilise and fix a few issues discovered after the applications release. In case you decide to go ahead and buy them you can always get a refund in case you are not happy with your purchases(s) (if you request it within 14 days). You can read more about Affinity return's policy here. I will hold on for a bit and have a good look at the videos and info while latest issues are resolved :) I look forward to giving them a spin!
