LeeS
As the title says, when I lock a layer (click on lock icon) in AP 1.5.1 I can still edit the layer, i.e. erasing content. Very annoying. Also cannot select multiple layers for grouping, etc., using Wacom stylus and Intuos 5 (driver v. 6.3.20-4). Please fix ASAP.
Staff TonyB Posted January 9, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 9, 2017 Locking the layer will only stop it being selected by the move tool and prevent the layer being transformed. The lock doesn't prevent editing and is by design.

Staff TonyB Posted January 9, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 9, 2017 And the inability to select multiple layers with the wacom? Sounds like a bug. We will get it sorted.
KiboOst
Would be really useful to have a preference to disable auto selecting layers ! And putting selection on ctrl+click. Really really annoying to always select other unwanted layers. Please let the user decide on such important workflow !! LeeS
Sounds like a bug. We will get it sorted. Thanks. Also, please consider adding a "hard" lock as a feature. The ability to lock a layer so that it cannot be edited unless it is unlocked. Perhaps Cmd/Opt/Click? And Cmd/Opt/Clicking again unlocks. Just an idea.
