That's a sweet one!

I would, but that's only me ;), open up a tad as there

are no whites in the take… not even the snow!

If personal taste is involved,           Light is free,                       Mother Nature provides the light
discussion is pointless.                   capturing it is NOT.               but talent renders the image.

Thanks for your feedback Kodiak, "opening up" would decrease the DOF and improve the Bokeh.

There is still a large size disparity between them and the mature Downey's.

How big is the disparity? What is the typical size of mature Downeys, and what size is the juvenile in the photo? ears.gif

The juvenile is about half grown, half the size of an adult male. There are smaller males and females showing up that are quite tiny. I suspect that they would be the last of the season hatch-lings. The adult male will fill out at about 6-7" not including the tail. The specimen in the photo is about five inches long not including the tail.

Thank you for sharing your work and thoughts. You and Kodiak are inspiring!

I will try to do better with any future videos, thank you so much for your kind comment.  :D The Affinity team has done a stellar job creating all the support they have done for us. I have never seen this kind of effort in present time from any other company in this line of business. There really isn't any need for my input through videos other than my own personal style for whatever that is worth. The go to for information on "How to" is Affinity Tutorials, one couldn't get a better reference. Good Luck Solly.
