…a new Jobu gimbal…

Congratulations on the new acquisition!

Indeed, a gimbal head is a must when shooting

with longer lenses and it becomes more impera-

tive at 36.3 MP! … and the Canadian made Jobu

are the ones I use too!

Did you apply sharpening on a local adjustment

layer?

Hi Kodiak, I was very grateful to this bird for his kind pose, they are very active fast moving critters. The new gimbal was a real winner, got me a shot I would have missed if not using this fine piece of kit. As for sharpening, I made my usual mistake and sharpened the entire image instead of a local sharpening of the bird. NEXT TIME!!! I promise.

Oops! looks like I answered twice on this, it's an age thing! Now to make some coffee and kick-start my brain.
