tonysutton
I have 5 x Topaz programs of which only 3 show up in my plugins folder. I have tried swapping between 16 bit and 8 bit (as suggested by a contributor) but there is no change. Has anybody got any ideas? The programs that don't show are Topaz Adjust and Topaz Fusion. Thanks for any input.
bph
Have just purchased and downloaded Affinity Photo. When I installed it, none of my plugins have been recognised, I have about 8 Topaz plugins and none of them have appeared.??
Staff MEB Posted January 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 5, 2017 Hi tonysutton, bph, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Can you post a screenshot of your Photoshop Plugins preferences please? Where did you have the plug-ins installed (what folder)? Here's how to attach an image/file to a post in case its needed. bph
Hi. The plugins are in: C: Prog Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5/Plugins. Not sure what you mean by "Photoshop Plugins preferences"

Staff MEB Posted January 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 5, 2017 Hi bph, Go to menu Edit ▸ Preferences, then Photoshop Plug-ins section. In the Plugin Search folders section click the Add button and browse to the folder where the plugins are installed (C: Prog Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5/Plugins in your case). Make sure Allow "Unknown" plugins to be used is checked on the bottom of the preferences dialog. Restart the application. All Topaz plug-ins should work except ReMask 5 which is not compatible. bph
Thanks very much to you both. This has worked fine. Do I follow the same procedure for other plugins ?
Staff MEB Posted January 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 5, 2017 Yes, all plug-ins you install in the Photoshop plug-ins folder will also be used by Affinity Photo as long as they are supported. Not all of them work. Photoshop plugins support is still being worked/improved.
