ajarnpaul Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 had Affinity photo given me for Christmas, did the download great up popped the program I'm on a roll clicked into sky replacement full stop. what appears in my tutorial video is totally different to the the one on the program I have no room on the right hand side to for layers filters etc .Will this happed in any other changes I try to do and can anyone help me PLEASE Ajarn Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Staff MEB Posted January 4, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 4, 2017 Hi ajarnpaul, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The file format of the images used on that video is .TIFF. You probably have opened a RAW (unprocessed) image that you have taken directly with you camera. RAW files are opened in Develop Persona by default since they need to be converted/developed before you can edit them in Photo Persona as shown in the video. So as soon as you click the blue Develop button on the top left of the interface the image will switch to the Photo Persona and you can follow along the video. I advise you to take a look at the In-House Affinity Photo Video Tutorials thread in the order they appear there, so you can understand what are and how Personas work in Affinity Photo. If you have any questions or queries just go ahead and post them here in the forums.
